Our Returns Policy
All items advertised on this site are held in stock in the UK though occasionally orders may exceed stock levels resulting in minor delays. In the unlikely event that your item is out of stock we will notify you of the delay which is usually no more than 21 days. Delivery methods may vary dependent upon the size and weight of the item. We try to despatch on the day following order placement although certain items may take longer.
DerriBootsDirect.com is fully compliant with the Distance Trading Act, and all other relevant acts applicable under English Law. Under current UK legislation any purchase made by Internet transaction is covered by a two week cooling off period from receipt of goods during which you may cancel your order and return the purchase for a refund of the full purchase price.
We understand that you may wish to return your item for an alternative colour or more likely a different size and if that is the case just send us an email within 2 weeks of receipt explaining what you would like to change it for and referencing your original order number. All you then have to do is return your purchase in “as new” condition, along with a cheque for £4.90 to cover return postage, and we will process your exchange by return.
If, on receipt, you find that your purchase is not fit for purpose then simply return the unused item in “as new” condition by registered post. Where the item is clearly at fault we will replace the item and take up the matter with the manufacturer. Items which appear to have been damaged or show inappropriate usage will be returned to the manufacturer for investigation and final decision. These items will only be replaced with the manufacturer’s agreement.
There may be circumstances when you wish to return your purchase for refund. If that is the case then please email us at Sales.DerriBootsDirect@gmail.com within 14 days of receipt, quoting your order number.
Please return the items in “as new” condition by recorded delivery and we will ensure that you receive your refund within 30 days.
DerriBootsDirect.com is compliant with the Data Protection Act, and all other acts applicable under English Law. No personal data is retained after order completion save that necessary for the purchase guarantee and for occasional marketing updates by email, post or phone. You will have the opportunity to opt out of these at any time or you can email Sales.DerriBootsDirect@gmail.com asking to be excluded from this activity.
No personal data shall be given or sold to any third party save that necessary to complete the transaction.
All credit card transactions are carried out under the strictest conditions, using a recognised secure 128 bit encrypted Gateway and Merchant account.
